What this site collects, what it does not, and what you can require.

This site has no form at all
There is nothing to fill in here. No data reaches us through this site.
Booking a table takes you to bookeat.be, and ordering takes you to our shop. Those are separate services with their own privacy policies: once you leave this site, their rules apply, not ours.
A booking or an order made by telephone does reach us directly: we note what is needed to honour it, and nothing more.
The trackers, and the choice we ask you to make
Three third-party services may be loaded on this site, and none is loaded before your consent:
Audience measurement (Google Analytics), to count visits and see which pages are viewed. No advertising profiling: advertising signals are explicitly denied in the configuration.
The YouTube video on the home page. YouTube sets its own cookies and receives your IP address. If you refuse, a photo of the restaurant is shown instead.
The Google Maps map. It loads a Google service, which receives your IP address. If you refuse, the address and a directions link remain visible.
Legal basis: your consent, Article 6.1.a GDPR and Article 10/2 of the Belgian Act of 30 July 2018. In Belgium there is no consent exemption for audience measurement.
How your choice is remembered
Your choice is kept in your browser's local storage, on your device. It is not a cookie, it never reaches us, and it only serves to avoid asking you again on every page.
It is kept for six months, after which the question is asked again. We keep its date and the version of the text you were shown: that is what makes it possible to prove what you consented to, and when.
You can withdraw it at any time, as easily as you gave it, using the « Cookies » button in the footer.
Hosting, and what it records
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc., in the United States, acting as a processor within the meaning of Article 28 GDPR. Like any web server it technically logs requests: IP address, date, page requested, response code. Those logs serve security and the operation of the service, not tracking you, and are kept for a short period set by the host.
Your rights
You may request access to your data, its rectification, its erasure, restriction of processing, object to that processing, or request portability. You may also withdraw your consent to trackers at any time.

In the event of a data breach
If a data breach presents a risk to your rights, it is notified to the Data Protection Authority within seventy-two hours, and you are informed where the risk is high.
Making a complaint
If our answer does not satisfy you, you may refer the matter to the Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, by telephone on 02 274 48 00 or at contact@apd-gba.be.
